Jason Garman is a cybersecurity practitioner with over two decades of experience spanning the public and private sectors. He founded Garman Group to bring enterprise-grade security expertise to organizations that need clear, actionable guidance — not jargon.

His career includes work at the highest levels of government, including serving as a technical amicus to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) and engagements with the Department of Justice. On the industry side, Jason has been a featured speaker at AWS re:Invent and re:Inforce, reaching audiences of thousands with his signature ability to make the complex understandable.

Jason is the author of Kerberos: The Definitive Guide, published by O'Reilly & Associates, and has contributed to the Cloud Security Alliance's LLM Authorization White Paper and the Coalition for Secure AI (CoSAI).

Today, his focus is squarely on AI security — helping organizations assess, manage, and mitigate the risks that come with deploying AI systems at scale.
